The RED Winches INEOS Grenadier Winch Mount.
While many INEOS Grenadier and Trailmaster owners are happy with the integrated RED Winch option available factory fitted by INEOS Automotive we recognise that some users want a winch solution that brings the winch to the front of the bumper in a more traditional mounting position as an aftermarket option.
In reaction to these demands RED Winches have developed this aftermarket winch mount.
RED Winches have used all of the knowledge gained while working with INEOS on the factory fitted integrated winch to engineer a winch mount that is designed to fully integrate into the Grenadier platform taking into account the loadings that a winch put onto the chassis and without impacting the vehicles approach angle. The kit also takes into account features such as front parking sensors and allowance has been made for their wiring loom.
The winch mount is a simple bolt on fitment that replaces the centre section of your Grenadier bumper and keeps the OEM appearance but opens up the possibility of installing a choice of models from the RED Winches range giving you the options for faster line speeds, increased pulling capacity and increased rope capacity. The positioning of the coolers is not affected and retains the OEM bumper corners.
Which model do I need?
The INEOS Grenadier and Trailmaster are supplied in two variants ECE (European model) and ROW (Rest of World). The ECE model is easily identifiable with it’s plastic bumper,
While the ROW model comes with a metal bumper,
Due to this variation in the vehicle architecture it is not possible for one winch mount design to fit both variants so RED Winches have developed two winch mounts, one for the ECE Grenadier / Trailmaster and one for the ROW Grenadier / Trailmaster.

Which RED Winch fits this mount?

Please note the COBRA runs our highly reliable and proven air brake system and does require an on board air supply. An advantage of using an on board air supply is you can then run the air freespool option. Wiring? – RED Winches have this covered for you
The INEOS Grenadier can be configured from the factory with the “High Amp Accessory Package”. If your Grenadier has this package then your vehicle will have these switches on the overhead panel,
Switch No. 7 controls a 500 amp isolator positioned behind the right hand headlamp. As part of the Grenadier Winch Mount Kit you will receive 50mm2 cable assemblies that run from the isolator to your RED Winch and from your RED Winch to the earth point.
If you don’t have the “High Amp Accessory Package” don’t panic we still have you covered. As retrofitting the “High Amp Accessory Package” is not a viable option on the Grenadier we have developed a longer wiring kit to run from the battery box under the back seat via an included Isolator to your winch at the front of the vehicle.

2″ Hitch Receiver?
Available as an optional extra is the 2″ hitch receiver. This fits to the underside of the winch mount for those who want the option of fitting a front tow point or additional recovery point.

What about batteries?
RED Winches recommend running twin batteries in your INEOS Grenadier if you are going to fit a winch. All of our single motor winches can pull up to 400amps at full load and while the Grenadier has an excellent charge rate from it’s alternator it will not keep up with the draw of a winch.
Installation?
Installation can be completed by a competent individual in a day with basic tools. The kit is supplied with a comprehensive fitting guide.
