Bobby and Marie of One Life Truck It met us at the quarry prior to their 10 year world wide trip to take delivery of their recovery kit, we thought it was a great opportunity to receive a little training and have a little fun in the quarry.

Two, Twin Motor King Cobra Titans
The truck is fitted with front and rear King Cobra Titans. Why choose these winches over others in the collection?
These are the most adaptable winches on the market and, as you can see, they can be used on a Defender or even on smaller vehicles.
The gears are interchangeable, meaning they can easily adapt to your specific needs, whether you are pulling for speed or for power. With the full drum disconnect feature, it is incredibly fast and easy to get the rope exactly where it needs to go.
For added flexibility, the King Cobra features three drum lengths: standard, medium, and extra-long. This gives you more rope capacity whenever you might need it.
The King Cobras are linked using a wireless Lodar system, which can be programmed in various ways depending on your rig.

RED Winches Recovery Gear
A winch is just part of the recovery solution. To make sure the truck is fully efficient in rescuing other vehicles or itself, it needs to be equipped with a fully loaded recovery kit. We have provided Bobby and Marie with just that, as while the Twin Motor King Cobra’s are able to pull 10,000 kg, sometimes that’s not enough force when recovering larger vehicles.
In addition to the usual strops and soft shackles, we have equipped them with a pair of our RR-50 recovery rings, giving them the ability to double, triple and even quadruple their winches' pulling power.
In particular, we have supplied them with a 20mm extension rope that is 24m long, which gives them the ability to use the Spanish burton technique to rig a 4:1 recovery set up without losing the effective reach of their winch, helping them to reach a suitable anchor point.
Whats included in the kit?
We wanted to familiarise Bobby with the Spanish Burton setup (above), as this gives him a significant mechanical advantage and allows him to recover vehicles even heavier than his 8-wheeled MAN Truck.
We also wanted to show the fiddle block setup and how this differs from the Spanish Burton. This setup also allows for heavy-duty pulling, but you are limited on distance.
With this RED Winch recovery equipment on board, he can safely and confidently tackle almost any recovery situation with ease.
