Built to Perform, Priced to Impress:
The RED Winch Venture
Looking to step into the world of high-performance winch ownership without blowing the budget? The RED Winch Venture is the ideal starting point—our lightweight powerhouse of a winch, priced at just £1,375.00 ex VAT, yet built with the same attention to detail and engineering integrity you’ll find across our range.
The RED Winch Venture packs a punch with a rated line pull of 5,000KG (11,000LB) with a line speed of 5.4 m/min - 17.9 ft/min (No load, Average) but weighs only 32kg (70lbs) with the included 30m rope. Control is simple and robust with a stainless steel freespool mechanism, wireless control fitted as standard and the option to use our wired pendant mill spec controller with LED torch built into the handle.
The Design
Due to the lightweight and compact design the RED Winch Venture will fit all standard winch mount on the market thanks to it’s standard mounting pattern of 254 x 114.3mm (10 x 4.5”) and thanks to the ability to remote mount the control box it is also ideally suited for discrete winch mounts.
Unlike other winches on the market, the Venture doesn’t rely on cast components, which are prone to cracking under stress or impact. Instead, we build our winches from billet aluminium, precision-machined from solid blocks of metal. Even the control box is CNC machined from blocks of Delrin rather than cheap injection moulded plastics. This means greater structural strength, reliability, and a longer working life—no shortcuts, no weak points.
Made in the UK
And while others outsource production overseas, we design, machine, and assemble every RED Winch here in our factory located in Somerset, UK. That’s not just a label—it’s a commitment to quality, traceability, and local craftsmanship. Every Venture is backed by our experienced UK-based support team and a company that lives and breathes winching innovation.
Whether you're building your next overlander for the trip of a lifetime or want a dependable winch that won't let you down, the RED Winch Venture proves that true quality and craftmanship doesn’t have to cost the earth.
