Event & Course

Total distance will be approximately 150 kms.

The winner will be the Team that completes the 15 x 10 Km laps which will give you 150km in the quickest time possible (after penalties) or as close to it in Full Laps if no team does the 15 laps. Part laps do not count eg. If you do 6 Km on a lap you cannot go back out and do another 4 Km to make up for it and total it up the laps will be timed to the nearest second using a GPS and Transponder System.

Vehicles will start at 2-minute intervals and the event will allow many overtaking possibilities.

The course will be set using YELLOW Arrows and markers and the objective is to drive between and through these points.

The event will consist of numerous laps across a wide range of off road terrain which will be timed to an accuracy of the nearest second by means of GPS and Computerised timing system, there will be live timings available on various platforms as well as being at Event HQ over the whole weekend, scoring will be the time recorded for each lap with the total time of all parts of the course included plus any penalties gained points will then be awarded accordingly, DNF’s will be added per lap.

Each lap will consist of 3 special challenge sections that you will be punched in by a marshal and once you have covered the correct route and exit correctly you will be punched out you will NOT need to collect punches on route. There will be a By-Pass route in force for vehicles that are either broken or just simply don’t want to attempt challenge sections, failure to do the Special Sections will incur a time penalty which will increase with the more of the sections you miss (time penalties will be announced in the final instructions).

There will also be 1 “Bogey Section” which will have to be completed Twice over the whole weekend Once per day, failure to do so will result in a Heavy Time Penalty.

There will be recovery over the whole weekend this will hopefully keep everyone in the game if you break down and need recovery back to the pit area you will only DNF that lap and once repaired are able to re-join the race from the start area.

There will be no classes to this event it is just 1 class with the scoring system coming in to play to even out the playing field.
